To my Echelon Brothers and Sisters:
I want to thank you so much for your ongoing support and participation. Without you, this project would be nothing.
For me, it goes far beyond “another Echelon project.” For me, this is the opportunity of a lifetime. Its a chance for all the Echelon family to get together, pouring out their creativity and beautiful talent, and getting to know the deep parts of ourselves that took us so very long to find. Watching the videos you have sent in, reading the stories you have shared, and looking at the pictures you have contributed has inspired me more then any Mars song, album, or concert.
I promise, with everything in me, to make this film the best that I can. To show the Echelon for what we really are.
This film is going to be the rawest, truest, and most powerful film you have ever seen.
Why?
Because YOU made it.
These are your stories.
Each contribution, be it a video, photo, or story, is a piece that makes up the true heart of the Echelon.
I can sit here all day thanking you for not only inspiring me, but for inspiring everyone around you. You may not realize it, but the Echelon are like a wild fire. We ignite everything we touch, consuming it completely until we’ve burned its existence down and remain the only traceable source. We are the most powerful force to walk the face of the earth. We are more powerful then society itself.
Why?
We live with every piece of our being. We love, dream, and believe until we die.
Listen to me: You are all the most amazing people EVER. You are all beautiful and daring, brave and bold, creative and genius. I wont stop until you all realize this to be true.
I know I am no Jared Leto, and maybe my words would mean more to you if it did come from someone you adored and admired, but I’m speaking truths you cant ignore.
Dont ever let anyone bring you down. Fight for your dreams until you cant fight anymore. And then rest a while so you can get back up and continue to fight. They can and will come true. I’ve seen it happen.
Never loose faith in yourself. People will fail you, so its important to never have faith in YOU and what YOU do.
I will always be here for each and every one of you.
I hope one day I can meet you all face to face so I can tell each of you individually how amazing you are.
